California Governor Post-Debate Discussion

It’s a jungle out there!

Next week, watch the governor’s debate on your own–or with a friend–and join us afterwards for a post-debate Zoom discussion. 

Unlike most states, California has a so-called jungle primary. In this top-two system, all candidates for governor are listed on the same ballot and the two top finishers in June, regardless of party, will then duel in the November midterms.

With this in mind, we voters must educate ourselves to prevent California from having only Republican candidates on the ballot.
