BONFIRE VANCOUVER GATHERING
An in-person gathering for women.
There are plenty of events. There are very few evenings worth showing up for.
Bonfire is for women in Vancouver who want the second kind — a real gathering where conversation goes somewhere, where the people in the room are curious, engaged, and looking for company that matches.
An evening to connect, exchange ideas, and gather with others in person.
Bonfire Vancouver is for you if you are:
- Seeking to build or grow your community
- Looking to share and move forward on your personal and professional passions
- Craving inspiration — or have some to share
- Already creating something, or have ideas percolating
- Longing for conversation around what matters.
This is our inaugural Vancouver gathering, and shaping what this group becomes is part of what we'll do together.
Other Bonfire groups have brought in writers, artists, activists, and community members — and found their way into galleries and museums, city council meetings, nature, volunteer sites, and someone's backyard. We want that kind of range!
We'll decide together what feels right for us here. We'll decide together what feels right for us.

For me personally, I'm really excited to be starting a Bonfire gathering here in Canada. I've been inspired by Shannon Watts' work — particularly how she's built grassroots momentum and helped women step into collective voice and action.
In Vancouver, I often feel we have a lot of *awareness* but not always the activation. There can be a tendency to stay contained, even when the desire for change is there. It feels like we could use a bit more fire.

Come and help us light it.
