BLUES/REBS Weekly Protests

We’re Baah ack!!!
At P.T Barnum Square this Saturday 3/15, from 11:am to 12:00pm
This time We Need You To Bring at least 2 friends!!
We’re sharpening our message, so (Stay Tuned) for more details.
We’ll start off the Rally with a poem from Micheal Garry.
Michael Garry from Danbury is an environmental writer, author and poet who leads the Bethel chapter of the Connecticut Poetry Society, which meets monthly at the Bethel Library.
Our theme this week is “Saving our Democracy”
And we’ll adjust our message therefore, (sharpening) our focus for each week going forward.
We will also be hosting sign making events, so (YOU) can make the message personal, and change it to meet the moment.
To close our weekly Rallies we are looking for musicians to sing a song or two, reminding us to find some joy in our very important work, and music can do that. 🎶🎶🎶
This week we have Penny Kessler,
Penny Kessler is a long time Bethel resident and a multi-talented musician as well as an avid singer who lead her congregation as an ordained Cantor of the United Jewish Center in Danbury.
She will regale us with “This land is your land”
It you are interested in singing don’t be shy, we will all raise our voices with you.
We hope to keep these weekly rallies non-partisan, with the mindful intention of drawing more people into joining us.
Please STAY TUNED and DO stay engaged . ✌️😉💙
