Art, connection and gratitude - come join us!

Many people are doing amazing work by participating in local organizations, such as the Rural Women's Health Project, the Southwest Advocacy Group, and Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, just to name a few. We want to decorate/create postcards of thanks to honor the efforts of local citizens who make a difference. Know a person or organization that deserves to be recognized? Let us know! We will bring the art supplies - you bring your ideas and your energy. Postcards not your thing but the art sounds great? Feel free to bring supplies for making the yard sign, t-shirt or vision board that you've been meaning to do. Now is the time!

Creating art can be a way to process our experience of overwhelm, find solidarity and transform challenges into a tangible expression of gratitude, hope or protest. This is a great chance to connect in the new year and share ideas or visions for future events. We hope to see you there.
