April In-person Meeting

Every vote matters, especially in local elections. Join us on April 12 at 12:45 p.m. for the Bay Area Troublemakers’ meeting, where we’ll focus on the upcoming May 3 elections.

The meeting will kick off with a discussion led by Laura DuPont and Ann Hammond, who each served multiple terms on the CCISD Board of Trustees. They’ll cover why voting in local elections is crucial, key factors to consider when choosing candidates, and helpful resources for getting informed about the local races.

Next, we’ll hear from several candidates! Rebecca Lilley (CCISD at-large), Jessica Cejka (CCISD District 1), and Kyrsten Garcia (League City Council Position 5) will share updates on their campaigns and offer ways you can get involved.

To RSVP, join the Bay Area Troublemakers group here, https://redwineblue.controlshift.app/groups/league-city-troublemakers, and sign up for the event. The meeting will take place at Sundance Grill II, 800 Mariners Drive in Kemah.

If you'd like to join us for lunch before the meeting, sign up for the League City Liberal Ladies Lunch on MeetUp here, https://www.meetup.com/league-city-liberal-ladies-lunch, for the April 12 program.
