And the Winner Is..................!!!

Please join us on Tuesday, November 3rd to watch election returns from around the country. There are many exciting races and the combined outcome of all of them could provide a different tone to Congressional activity going forward, as well as the leadership for the State.  We are meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Ames (UUFA) at 1015 Hyland since our usual meeting location is a polling place.  We are pleased to collaborate with the UUFA on this event, share their space, and create community.  Doors will open at 6:30pm and the event will begin at 7:00pm.  Our end time will likely be flexible depending on how quickly returns are reported.

So much effort, so much creativity, so much hard work has gone into these elections.  We’ve all found our unique ways to participate in the democratic process and we all have the “ideal result” we hope occurs.  Let’s come together to watch election returns, celebrate all our efforts, and experience community and democracy in action.  We’ll have extra special snacks, the usual beverages, some games and door prizes. We’ll also have sign-making supplies for those who want to express themselves through art.

Please invite a friend and join us!
