Adopt-A-Family

In the face of hardship and uncertainty, Share Ourselves in Costa Mesa organizes an annual Adopt-a-Family program to help members of our community. Partnering with local schools and community organizations, they identify local families in need.

Orange County Good Trouble has adopted a family of five. "Adriana is a devoted single mother doing her best to care for her four children--Azlyn (11), Arturo (10), Ayden (8), and Eliana (3). Recently, life has become especially challenging for the family. After Ayden was diagnosed with autism, Adriana began missing work to take him to his appointments and therapies. As a result, she was laid off from her job and is now searching for new employment that will offer the flexibility she needs to balance work and caring for her children. Despite these hardships, Adriana remains hopeful and determined. This family would be deeply thankful for any support this holiday season."

Please RSVP if you would like to help provide gifts for this family. We just have openings for one gift for one of the children and a gift card to Northgate market for groceries.

Plan to drop off your item(s) at our "Coffee Shop Drop Off" on Saturday, December 13, between 10:00-12:00 A.M. at Woodbridge Village Center in Irvine, at the outdoor tables.  If you have time, grab a cup of coffee and stay for a chat!
