A Very Merry Unbirthday Protest Party No Kings – We reject the policies of the Trump regime impacting the USA and the EU!

[Lisboa, Portugal, June 1, 2025] - Part of noncompliance is joy. We are celebrating and supporting the resistance in the USA. We have words of encouragement and hope, music of resistance, community, joy, opportunities to support small actions that make a difference, and cupcakes!

Forward Together is a community of USA citizens living in Portugal and their friends who are deeply concerned for the USA.

In alliance with Democrats Abroad Portugal, we’ve decided to throw a Very Merry Unbirthday Party for all who love democracy and the USA constitution. Come celebrate with us in offering as gifts all those things we wish we could create in the hearts of fascists around the globe.

The event will feature the famous US television puppet Lambchop, and her human partner Mallory Lewis, singer songwriter Jay Conboy, and musician Lis Harris. Protest cupcakes by Tease complete this unbirthday celebration.

This is bigger than political disagreement. The Trump regime and GOP have defied our courts, deported American citizens, disappeared people off the streets, and slashed our services—all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their billionaire allies. Enough is enough. For anyone who thinks they have gone too far, this party is for you.
