28 Days and Counting!!

Our monthly first Tuesday gathering in October is on the 6th and is the last gathering before the November 3rd election.  Don’t worry, we are planning other events, so stay tuned for those!    

Are you wondering what you can still do before the November election?!!   There are plenty of options.  Our October 6th gathering is our last opportunity to work together to develop our personal get-out-the-vote action plans, to review the ballot, and to support others getting to the polls.  Our goal is that you'll leave with lots of actions you plan to take in the final weeks leading up to the election.  We’ll also have a few games and prizes, write our usual notes to our veteran friends at the Marshalltown Veterans Home and collect donations for them that will be delivered for Veterans Day.  We will develop plans for November 3rd that include providing rides to the polls for those that need them, a gathering place to celebrate after voting, and a watch party for results.

We have all been working hard so let’s gather and find community in our efforts, reaching out to support each other.  Please bring a friend or two or three.  There is always room for more around our table.
